Image dimensions and file formats
Will this remove the background from my product photos?
No. The formatter adds a canvas around your existing image. Existing backgrounds remain in place. Use a transparent PNG or WebP if you want the new canvas color to show around your product.
Will all my output images have the same dimensions?
Yes. Every result uses your selected canvas width and height. Each source image is scaled proportionally to fit inside the padding, so nothing is cropped. Small source images may be enlarged and look softer.
Which dimensions should I use for a store?
Choose dimensions that match your store theme and its current image requirements. The square, portrait and landscape options here are general canvas presets, not platform compliance guarantees.
Can I create transparent product images?
Choose Transparent as the canvas background and PNG or WebP as the output. This preserves existing transparency and adds transparent padding; it does not make an existing photo background transparent.
What are the file and browser limits?
Each batch supports up to 50 JPG, PNG or WebP files, 20 MB per file and 100 MB total. Source images must be at most 24 megapixels. Output dimensions are limited to 4096 pixels per side and 16 megapixels total. Animated WebP is not supported. HEIC, GIF and SVG are not accepted. Output is re-encoded and original metadata is not preserved. Use a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
