Output and limitations
Turn a front-and-back spreadsheet into a UTF-8 file ready for Anki import.
Comma-separated CSV with unique headers. Select front and back columns. Exports quoted tab-separated fields with HTML disabled; import into a Basic note type and choose a deck in Anki. Matching fronts can update existing notes depending on your Anki import settings. Upload a UTF-8 file up to 5 MB or paste up to 12,000 characters. An uploaded file takes priority. Up to 10,000 rows and 100 columns.
Where are my files processed?
Selected files are processed in your browser. Importing a URL uses the download service to retrieve the remote file.
What if processing fails?
Check the supported formats and file limits, then try a smaller file. Keep an original copy. A clear error message will explain an unsupported input or an unavailable processing service.
